Purchased in 1999, Eastern Passage Village Veterinary Hospital (EPVVH) officially opened its doors on April 1, 1999. Back then the clinic was located in the strip mall and consisted of only three staff.  Now two moves later, we have over 16 employees, all working toward the shared goal of offering the very best in veterinary care to our patients as well as exceptional service to our valued clients.

At EPVVH, we constantly strive to provide the highest quality medical, surgical and dental care available to our highly valued patients. Our full service medical facility offers a wide array of services including physical examinations, vaccinations, surgery, radiology, ultrasound with certified specialist by appointment, orthopedic surgery performed on location, dental radiology, dental care, behavioural consults, preventive medicine, weight loss and senior programs. Our facility also features a full on-site laboratory through which we offer blood work, parasite diagnosis, cytology, cultures and urine analysis.

In addition to the quality veterinary services we provide, the staff at EPVVH also donates their time, skills and our facility for charitable community events and causes throughout the year. By organizing multiple ‘nail trim fundraisers’, annual ‘Santa Pictures’, and participating in community events, we are able to raise enough funding to provide Christmas for entire families in need through the Feed Nova Scotia program.
