Dana is a registered veterinary technician who moved from Québec to Nova Scotia to join our team in 2016. Prior to pursuing veterinary technician studies, Dana completed a bachelor degree in Honours English Literature – but she was much more invested in her animal shelter volunteer work than she was in her schoolwork. She followed that calling to work with animals by completing the Veterinary Technician program at Algonquin College in Ottawa with honours in 2015. Dana has a special interest in feline medicine and behavior, and enjoys the challenge of fostering “difficult” cats. She lives with her husband Daniel, and their rescue cats Trini and Cedar.
